Q. What
surfaces can be refinished?
A. Resurfacing
procedures are designed for most bathroom tubs; either porcelain, fiberglass
or cultured marble. The same process can be used on floor and wall tiles
and all types of countertops either laminate, tile or cultured marble
for baths or kitchens.
Q. How
long will the refinishing process last?
A. All
Surface Resurfacing gives a five year warranty on tubs and tile and
one year on countertops, but our experience shows that with reasonable
care the resurfacing process should last 10 to 15 years before any measurable
wear.
Q. How
long will the process take?
A. Most
jobs can be completed in one day. Total bathroom refinishing that includes
floors will take 2 to 2-1/2 days. We can schedule most jobs within 48
hours of booking the job.
Q. Are
all refinishing companies or processes the same?
A. No!
There are many different processes that might be called a refinishing
or resurfacing. You need to check the company and the process. All Surface
Refinishing uses a 6 step process of repairs, cleaning, bonding agent,
primers and top coat that has proven success for many years. Two key
items make a good refinishing job 1) good refinishing products and 2)
most important, the experiene and training of the person doing the job.
To perform a quality refinishing job, it takes years of training. At
All Surface Refinishing we train our people to do each job right the
first time and we stand behind each job. Ask for references and check
with the Better Business Bureau. We are members of the Dallas BBB.
Q. How
do we clean the fixtures after the refinishing?
A. We
leave complete cleaning instructions, but most good cleaners that are
safe for acrylic and contain no abrasive can be used. If you have the
tub and tile refinished, you will find it much easier to clean since
the caulk lines are sealed.
Q. Will
a refinished tub or wall tiles look painted?
A. A
good refinishing job should look like a new tub and new tile. We train
our techs to make each job look like a new application. Most people
cannot tell an All Surface Refinishing project from a new application.
Q. Does
the process work on commercial jobs like apartments and hotels?
A. We
have many years of successful work with apartments and hotels in the
area. Give us a call for a quote on any commercial project. |
